Magazine Holder


Tutorial for turning old magazines into home decor 'Magazine Organizer': 

Create a useful accent for your home decor and rid yourself of magazines at the same time! If you have boxes full of old magazines just collecting dust or waiting to be recycled. Pull those collection together to make this colorful magazine holder. 



Material:
  • Empty box 
  • Old magazines
  • Ruler
  • Pencil (To roll the papers)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick/ Glue Gun

Instructions-



1. Cut and roll magazine papers according to the height of your empty box. To roll the papers, put a pencil on the edge of the paper and roll it around. Build a bunch of such sticks. Idea is to cover the sides of the box with these sticks.




2. To make sure that the box looks good from inside, wrap insides of the box with some glossy magazine papers. Same way wrap the bottom of the box.

3. Now just paste the rolled paper sticks on external sides of the box.

Nylon Flowers


Nylon Flowers


If you want a hobby that is fun and rewarding, easy, and fun, then handmade nylon flowers (stocking flowers) is an easy craft to learn. Do it yourself-- you will be so impressed by the result. Nylon flower making is an art form that I feel can be done by anyone. See how to make these beautiful nylon stocking flowers!


1. Supplies

1. Colored Nylons
2. Colored wires 
3. Thread
4. Green floral tape
5. Simple wire
4. Flower stamens bundle 





2.  Make a ring of colored wire and twist the edges. Then cover the ring with Nylon and tie it with a thread. Prepare all the petals similarly. Then take the normal wire and tie some Flower Stamens to the the wire.



3. Tie the tail of the petal to the the above wire with stamens. 





4. Tie all the petals accordingly. Then wrap the green tape on the base of the flower to cover the thread and the petal ends and continue wrapping it till the bottom of the stem.






                                                        This is what it finally looks like.
